Our Children’s Ministry continues to grow and stays active. Our Director of Children’s Ministry, Sara Joines, keeps our kids busy. Our Kids Alive program has a lot to offer such as Children’s Church during both our 9-and 11 a.m. worship services on Sunday mornings as well as Sunday School at 10 a.m., and Sunday evening programming for children ages three years through fifth grade. Our children also have various opportunities to participate in throughout the year such as our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, a Christmas play, and missions. We would love to have to join us. 

 

Kids ALIve!

Our Kids Alive! Sunday night programing follows the school calendar year and begins at 5 p.m. in our Education Building. Activities include children’s choir, dinner and a lesson. Sunday Night Live begins with choir for our Preschoolers and Kindergarteners while our 1^st -5^th group will have a lesson. We will all meet at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and then at 6 p.m. our groups will flip-flop and  our 1^st-5^th group will head to children’s choir while and preschool and kindergarten group does a lesson.

Theme:  What can I Do? Jesus early life and ministry: In this four-week series from the Gospels, we’ll read about Jesus starting out his ministry and how he invited his followers — and us — to listen to God’s voice, trust Jesus knows us, trust God’s plans for us, and include people who aren’t like us.

Theme: Wow Jesus Miracles- In this four-week series, kids will take a look at some of the miracles that Jesus performed during his ministry. Through stories showing the power of Jesus, they’ll no doubt go, Wow! Jesus has the power to heal, to calm our fears, to provide, and to save.

Theme: Glow in the Dark- In this five-week series through the Gospels, we’ll follow Jesus’ life leading up to Easter to see some of the ways he can shine bright in our lives. As we explore, we’ll see Jesus is the light in the darkness. We’ll also learn how we can choose Jesus and know God hears our cries while celebrating how Jesus died and rose again!

Theme: Throw Back- In this four-week series, kids will travel through the decades and see that the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels are always trending. As we hear from Jesus, we’ll see it’s always good to be humble, we can always forgive, Jesus is always fair, and love always needs action.
